The follow-up workshop gathered industry and government participants in ensuring representation by all key stakeholder interest groups to brainstorm on action planning for the industry's brand strategy.

The aim of the workshop is to create, develop, and manage a positive brand for Malaysia’s maritime industry including the communication of a common vision, to align industry goals, improve collaboration among stakeholders and secure commitment to drive the MSMP to fruition.

The workshop covered all brand strategy and management concepts that were well illustrated by global best practice examples and the use of exercises designed specifically for the maritime industry.

The outcomes from this workshop were presented at the Malaysia World Maritime Week 2017 on 5 to 9 September 2017 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. MIMA would like to express its appreciation to all MSMP stakeholders for their inputs, ideas, and contributions during the branding workshop session.
