MIMA: 25 June 2018

The latest in the series of MIMA Talks was by Associate Professor Lin Chung Hung from the Department of Systems and Naval Mechatronic Engineering of the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He spoke on the ‘Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) for Fishing Boats Activities’ based on the Taiwanese experience and enforced by the Taiwan Fishery Agency. This multi-purpose system facilitates effective fuel management of fishing boats and assists the government in managing fuel subsidy allocations for them.
