Official Launch of MIMA’s 25th Anniversary Coffee Table Book

MIMA’s 25th Anniversary Coffee Table Book documents the institute’s achievements in Advancing the Frontiers of Maritime Knowledge since its formation in 1993. The book serves as light reading with illustrations and info graphics on MIMA’s progress and its contributions in the national, regional, and international maritime domain.

MIMA’s 25th Anniversary Coffee Table Book

About 100 representatives from government agencies dealing with maritime issues, heads of foreign missions in Kuala Lumpur, maritime and shipping industry stakeholders, research organizations, and related think-tanks joined in celebrating the event.

In his speech, YB Dato’ Haji Kamarudin Jaffar, Deputy Minister of Transport recognized and endorsed MIMA’s significant role in promoting Malaysia’s maritime interests and providing viable policy options and research on maritime matters to the government and related stakeholders. He was confident that MIMA will continue to contribute significantly to the maritime domain in the years to come.
